Coho Canyon is a cohousing partnership offering the possibility of developing a 1 acre parcel in San Geronimo Valley. We (and the land) are seeking like minded people to come and fulfill their dreams here, co-owning the property long term and tending the land and garden, and upgrading and developing the buildings in a conservational and ecologically correct manner. The property is located at the dead end of rural road on south facing sunny slope directly bordering 200 acres of inaccessible terrain, which accesses the entire West Marin trail system.

What currently exists on the parcel is a permitted one bedroom cottage, roughly 600 square feet, and an existing permitted one bedroom septic. Also included is a perk tested drain field for a new two bedroom septic system that can be designed as a standard class 1 septic, or as a Geo Flow design recently approved as a class 1 system by Marin County. Regarding new building possibilities, there is enough flat area on the lot to build a new 1800 + square foot house as long as a new septic system is installed. Ideally, we would like to find someone who will build a green home on the site.
